Freight Distribution, Inc. understands that our success depends upon the carriers that haul our freight. We rely on professional carriers that take their job, and our business, seriously.

When it comes to freight payment, we put our carrier-partners out in front. We offer our carriers fair rates to haul our loads and, according to CompuNet Credit Services, a transportation industry specialist, we are one of the fastest freight payers in the industry. We want to make it easy for carriers to take our loads and keep coming back for more.

If you are already one of our carrier-partners then we say "thank you" for helping us grow. If you're not but would like to be, we welcome you.

It doesn't matter to us how many trucks you own, the most important attribute that we look for in a carrier is INTEGRITY. The reputation that we build with our customers is based upon your performance as well as our own. If you take pride in being a professional and want to partner with with a company that will offer competitive rates, that will stick by you if things go wrong that are out of your control, and will provide an accelerated payment schedule, then please consider FDI. On the other hand, carriers that can't seem to adhere to schedules or have problems telling the truth are invited to partner up with our many competitors; we'll be happy to supply names and phone numbers.

We do have the following requirements:

• Your company must have a reputation for professionalism.
• Your company must be fully licensed by the Federal Highway Administration. We require a copy of the certificate listing your MC number.
• Your company must be fully insured. We require a certificate of insurance from your provider, listing Freight Distribution, Inc as a certificate holder, with a minimum of $100,000 cargo limit and $750,000 auto liability.
• We require your Tax ID or Social Security Number.
• We will need your phone and fax numbers along with any emergency numbers available.

If your company is interested in becoming an FDI approved carrier please fax the information requested above to (518) 785-3434 or call us at (800) 945-1984.  Once we have received this information from you, we will fax you our Carrier Contract Agreement, several professional references and our bank reference. When our signed Carrier Contract Agreement is faxed back to us, your company will be entered into our database and we will be in business.
